Whity Black

Today (7-19-2010) at the morning I drive from my hometown to the city where I work. While I was driving, on a straight road section I saw a pack of homeless dogs trying to cross the street. I slowed down the speed, but a truck coming from the other side of the street didn't slow his speed down and run over one of the dogs. I saw how this dog died in few second. I looked at the face of the driver that killed the dog and he didn't stop driving and he screwed something … probably the dog why he was crossing the street at that moment …

I want to tell you only two things:

1) People are the most dangerous beasts at this planet. I looked at the face of the driver and I didn't see any regret or at least shame at his face … I saw only hate and anger. I'm also a beast, because I didn't stop to see if the dog was somehow still alive and I didn't tried even to help him … I continued my drive saying to myself ‘A car is driving after you and you cannot find place where to stop' … but I realized I'm the same beast as the driver that killed this dog.

2) After the awful scene, one of the other dogs went to the dead dog and his look was really sad and worried, I hadn't seen more sad human or animal before … it was so real … Let's talk about the dead dog, this dog was homeless, probably he had been born homeless and he died homeless - without owner ... without dog's food … without dog's presents … without dog's hats … without even a name. He was a big dog, mainly with white and some black hairs. This is the only one thing I know about this dog … I could at least call him a Whity Black … At least, he has a name after his dead. His friend, the dog that came to him, was much smaller dog … Maybe they had been friends before … I saw one thing for sure … Whity Black didn't die alone, he had one friend on his dead. Do you have someone that you can call him or her ‘your real friend' … Think again … Think honestly!

In the past, I had a dog pet, she died in same way run over by car while she was pregnant … I didn't saw her dead, but I saw the Whity Black's dead … nothing is changing … we can change the world but we don't do it … is it necessary for us to have a hope and to wait something to get change for better?

Goodby, Whity Black. Hope you're in better place now.
